Analytics Builder - Validation Job Failed on a Linux server

Hello,

I'm testing my analytics extension and analytics server installation. I'm using the dataset downloaded from a PTC video (analytics_vibration).

When I tried to make a model I get the same validation error:

"Could not extract threshold value for the specified model with goal ...."

And Analytics Builder does not refresh the model page.

I have read the article https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS294946 but the solution explained it is only for windows users.

Any solution for Ubuntu users? My installation is:

- Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS

- Analytics server version: 8.3.0-r4

Thanks,

Olatz.

Hi @olatz

On Linux you want to change the settings for user twxanalytics.

https://www.thomas-krenn.com/en/wiki/Configure_Locales_in_Ubuntu can be useful since you cannot log as twxanalytics user to use graphical interface.

Hope this helps

Regards

Christophe

Olatz,

Thank you for posting your question to the PTC Community.

To change your regional settings in Ubuntu 16.04, please refer to the Ubuntu documentation which can be found here: Ubuntu 16.04 - Region & Language

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Regards,

Neel

Thank you nsampat for your answer, but which is exactly the change that I have to do? In the article CS294946 it is not clear. It says "As a workaround, set the Regional Settings for system account to English", is it speaking about the user "twxanalytics" created during product installation or is it speaking about another system user?

Thanks.

Olatz.
