Any other way to achieve Logout function?

What's the purpose of the Logout button widget if it doesn't actually log out the user?

I'm experiencing the same, where when I click the Logout button, it redirects to the FormLogin for my organization. But, I can simply hit the browser 'Back' button and have full access to the Mashup again.
