Azure IoT Hub connector and Thingworx Foundation on same instance

Hi all,

Is it good practice to run Azure IoT Thingworx Connector 3.0 and Thingworx Foundation 8.5 on same server ?

Best practice would be to run them on separate servers but they can run on the same server.

Hi @Velkumar and @PaiChung ,

I am also trying to run my thingworx foundation version is 8.4 and Azure IoT Hub connector both on same machine. But I am unable to get it running. I have also raised the support ticket for the same ( https://community.ptc.com/t5/ThingWorx-Developers/Issues-while-connecting-azure-iot-hub-and-thingworx/m-p/632019#M40006). I had also attached the error I am getting and azure-iot.conf file

Please let me know if you are able to connect between azure IoT hub and thingworx foundation.

If yes, please verify my azure-iot.conf file and let me know if anything needs to be changed
