Question

Binding with Mashup Parameter is removed being marked as obsolete

Dear devs,

I have a Service Output which is passed as a Mashup Parameter to a Mashup acting as an error/success popup. The whole thing is working, except that when I log in again the binding is removed, and a status message appears saying that obsolete bindings have been removed.

Do you have an idea on how to solve this?

Thanks!

This is a known issue, navigation function mashup parameter bindings are automatically removed after composer refresh. You can refer below articles for a workaround,

Hi @slangley,

I always close questions that are answered. In this case, the procedure does not resolve the issue from my point of view. The only way is to save the mashup and not keeping it open in the composer, so it won't refresh.

I agree. There is a fix for this in 9.3. If you bind it using the configuration window or drag have no impact. It still not work.

Hi guys,

I have had such a problem recently. My thingworx version is 9.2+.

I solved the problem with  drag way to bind parameters instead of in a configuration windows/

I hope this will be helpful to you guys.
