Custom app in manufacturing apps creation

Hi,

 

I think my question might be more about the fundamental of how thingworx work and what we can do with it.

 

Is there a way to develop an app programmatically (let say with JAVA) using a thingworx SDK and make it run on the platform ? Or do we need to develop everything directly with ThingWorx Composer ? If we can deploy custom app in JAVA, can we also use third-party libraries ?

 

Sorry if the question doesn't make sense, I'm trying to understand how ThingWorx work.

Hi, 

 

The TWX is open to custom widgets (like the ones you see in the Market Place), and you can create your own by using the developer's extension Eclipse-plugin, and there're pre-loaded classes and samples for you.
