Custom Formatted Widget Tooltips

I have a requirement to format a mashup widget's tooltip with certain information on separate lines in the tooltip.  I'm using the value display widget but being able to do this with other widgets would also be useful.

It looks like chart widgets already have this capability as described in https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r9/en/index.html#page/ThingWorx/Help/Mashup_Builder/Widgets/CreatingCustomChartTooltips.html#
Example image from the link:

The link describes built-in variables available for the charts (like #title# and #newline#), but these do not seem accessible to other widgets.

Is there actually a way to get a similar tooltip result for other types of widgets, or is this a new wish list item for ThingWorx?

Currently developing on Thingworx 9.5.2.

Hi @Ascherer17, as you may have known, the custom value tooltips are currently only supported in the following widgets:

You can go to Product Ideas @ PTC Community and consider posting a new enhancement request there. The guidelines and process can be found here.

I hope this will help!
