Data filter widget with Custom sql database without using Datashape

Hi,

 

Is it possible using datafilter widget on grid which shows data from SQL database , where Datashape is not defined. how we can use Datafilter widget in this scenario .

Hi,

 

Yes, you can create datashape with +Datashape after you Test/Execute the service (doesn't matter if you join tables).

Maybe you can attach screenshot to understand better.

Hello,

 

As far as I know, you do need to have a DataShape for the filter widget to work. You would need to generate data shapes for each of your SQL services by clicking "+ Data Shape" after you test-execute them -- will take you few minutes only.

Can I create datashape if already having services for fetching data from multiple tables using Join .

and later how filter widget needs to bind ?
