Data is not reaching the Thingworx platform

Hi,

We have connected assets which is sending data to Thingworx platform from last two weeks, but from yesterday data is not reaching platform.

It's showing all assets isconnected=true but none of the assets data is not reaching platform.

I have checked the logs on device, its' giving me error code 1114(TW_GATEWAY_TIMEOUT), but the device is sending data.

Below are the set of Application logs keep on getting on the thingworx:

 

 - NULL MessageSynchronizationContext! Request either timed-out waiting for this response, or it was received by mistake: ResponseMessage [requestId: 4518085, endpointId: -1, sessionId: 30071, code: STATUS_SUCCESS, multipart: false, packet #: 0, total packets: 0]

 

- Could not dispatch async service request [NotifyPropertyUpdate] : Timed out APIRequestMessage [requestId: 4519346, endpointId: -1, sessionId: -1, method: POST, entityName: *8902A, characteristic: Services, target: NotifyPropertyUpdate]

 

- Could NOT send response for request 148738 on /Things/*1004613/Services/GetPropertySubscriptions/ [java.lang.Exception: No open connections were available on endpoint 26908]

 

- ERROR sending initial response: java.lang.Exception: No open connections were available on endpoint 26871.  Preparing to re-send response for request 148789 on /Things/*1004507/Services/GetPropertySubscriptions/

 

After tomcat restart everything started working fine, but this is happening many times.

 

can you guys help me how to fix this issue without tomcat restart, what is the root cause of these errors?

You should try checking on the activeThread count inWSExecutionProcessingSubsystem. If the thread count is over the limit , I have observed these types of behavior.

Hi ,

The issue is on hold as of now as the logs shared were insufficient for the Support team. As the issue is not reproducible easily, waiting for a error scene. In the mean time we have been working on optimizing the PG writes and queries and other associated optimizations.
