Detailed information about properties in RemoteThing template

I am using ThingWorx Platform Release 9.7 and DatecodeF000

I was not able to find detailed information about how the properties of the provided RemoteThing Template are mapped behind the scenes, as it's not always clear for us, what e.g. the lastConnection timestamp refers to, when the reportingLastChange timestamp will be updated and so on.

Can someone provide detailed information for each of the properties inside the template to ensure that we know how to rely on these properties for monitoring remote things?

- isConnected (Boolean)
- lastConnection (Timestamp)
- isReporting (Boolean)
- reportingLastChange (Timestamp)
- reportingLastEvaluation (Timestamp)

    isConnected — The connection state of the ThingWorx Kepware Server server.
    •lastConnected —The last good connection time of the ThingWorx Kepware Server server.
