Displaying grid values into another grid through a button click.

Hi,

I have a grid which displays few values I wanted to provide these value of grid into another grid without using a service individually for that another grid.

Can i achieve that by using a button so that I can configure the service of first grid to the button and bind the on click event of button to another grid? So when i click thr button it displays the value of first grid to second grid??

Is this possible?Is this a right method?

Please provide some guidance.
