Entities bundled as part of extension are not editable on Platform

I have created an extension that contains only entities and a metadata.xml file. When I import this extension the entities are also imported on Thingworx platform, however, they are not editable. Is there any flag which I can set so that the entities can become editable after importing them from the extension?
