Error importing entities from "Introduction to Thingworx 8" course into ThingWorx 8.2.5-b260

Hi,

 

I have a local instalation of Thingworx (version 8.2.5-b260). 

 

When I try to import a xml entities file into Thingworx I get the error "Error importing: error, Not Acceptable". In my application logs I get the error "Internal error: java.lang.Exception: Conversion Error on Field password : Unable To Convert From com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.dom.DeferredElementNSImpl to PASSWORD".

 

Can someone help me please?

    Hi @csantos could you try the following :

     

    1. Re export the entities in binary format i.e. using .twx 

     

    2. Import this newly exported entities in your ThingWorx 8.2.5 version.

      My problem is on import, how can I export these entities if I cannot import them? The entities that I am trying to import are, as said in the title, from the "Introduction to Thingworx 8" course available at http://precisionlms.ptc.com.

       

      Can anyone help?
