Execute a .exe file in ThingWorx 9.3.8

Executing an .exe file is not a part of thingworx functionality due to security reason however you can either create custom extension to achieve your use case. Please refer the article shared above.

I just want to understand what is the purpose of executing .exe in system repository folder whats the exact use case?
