Question

How can we draw Process Instrument Diagram (like what we do in SCADA) in Thingworx Mashup?

Some customers ask about the functions in Mashup, especially drawing Process Instrument diagram. They said they are familiar with the PI diagram like what they were watching in SCADA or Historain HMI.

I looked through the market place, but there's no appropriate extension for this application.

There no specific tool in order to do it.

If you want to do something similar, you can make a "mockup":

  • Draw an Image with all the process instrument diagram with another tool and export as PNG
  • Set this as Background image of the Mashup
  • Then put widgets on top of it to make it live (just labels for instance)
