How do i get rid of this horizontal scroll bars in collection widgets?

have created a mashup using collection widget. I am trying to get rid of the horizontal scroll bars

I tried even with an empty mashup still no luck. adjusted the width, any help is really appreciated.

In the collection widget properties, there is an option called "Scrollbar type" - change it to "hover" instead of "always on".
