Hello,

 

 

I want to a create new custom thing template extension using Java. so there is any document or any resource that is useful,

 

I want to a create custom thing template to connect with Modbus PLC and read/ write data. I need guidance to create a custom thing template extension using Java

Here's a good starting point: https://community.ptc.com/t5/IoT-Tips/Expert-Session-ThingWorx-Extension-Development/ta-p/819012

 

There's also a "ThingWorx Extension Development Guide" you can google for. While the document is 7 years old, I find most of its content for the server-side extensions still relevant.

 

For the Modbus connectivity you might want to check Kepware products instead.
