How to prevent inadvertent editing of style definition

Hi all,

Currently i am using a styletheme for my work. I would like to check if there are anyway to also customize/privitize the shapeStyle as it is a default option shared among my colleagues and they sometimes accidentally edit it.

Let me know how i can go about doing it.
