How to send mail with attachment have size above 470 KB in Thingworx by using Mail Server extensions

Hello All,

 

I am using Mail Server extension Version 3.6 to send mail with Attachment.

 

Issue: Not able to send mail with attachment have size above 470 KB and also not throwing any error while processing.

 

Please provide some idea to solve above problem?

 

Thingworx Version: 8.2.5
MailServer extension Version: 3.6

Hi @NERaj.

 

Glad to hear that importing the latest version of the mail server widget resolved your issue.  I assume that was Mail Extension 3.6.0.

Hi,

 

Please help with more details:

1. which service you are using to send email?

2. emails without attachments are working?

3. are you trying to send image as attachment?

4. Set Application log level to DEBUG and send message again, upload Application.log here for analysis.

Please find my response in bold text.

 

1. which service you are using to send email?

service: SendMessageWithAttachment

 

2. emails without attachments are working?

Yes its working fine without attachment

 

3. are you trying to send image as attachment?

No. I am trying to send the PDF file as attachment.

 

4. Set Application log level to DEBUG and send message again, upload Application.log here for analysis.

I have set the Application log level to DEBUG, but, didn't get any log (See the attached screenshot).

Hi,

 

1. Please access Application.log directly on the server and attach it here.

2. Please attach a screenshot on the parameters of the service (to see path, name of file ...)

3. Mime type for the service for pdf should be "application/pdf"
