invalid name error when assigning sql query service output to a datashape

I executed a sql query service, when i am sending the output to a datashape and trying to name that datashape, an error is displayed as "INVALID NAME"

 

Though, I am not giving spaces in datashape name..

When there are null values in result of sql query service, and when we try to save the result in data shape we get this error.

Are there any additional errors in the application log?  What version of ThingWorx are you on?
