Is it possible to add dropdown in one of the field of grid?

I have passed infotable to grid with few editable fields. Now customer wanted one more field in grid which have dropdown widget to select values. Is that possible.

hi @AP_10343008,

 

In Grid Widget, it's not possible. A couple of workarounds:

  1. Use Collection Widget
  2. As you know, use a Dropdown out of Grid.
  3. When pressed on the Grid row, a Popup opens, allowing you to edit it. In Popup, you can use the Dropdown.

Hi @AP_10343008  you want to add dropdowns in the edit cells of the grid, Am I understanding correctly?
if yes then-No, It’s not part of ThingWorx functionality, the Grid Widget does not offer any built-in Events to automatically detect value changes.
