Is it possible to change Hosts for a TWX license

Hi all,

 

A customer asked me this and just wanted to confirm.

Can I change the host of a TWX License?

Example: If I install a customer license on server ABC and the customer wants to deactivate server ABC and move TWX to server FGH, I'll need to go to license manager and go into Move Assigned Product and put the new deviceID and associate with the license, correct?

Yes thats correct. If you move your thingworx to another server it will have different instance id and based on that instance ID your new license will be generated and you can use that particular one.
