Mail extension with modern authentication type

We all know that Microsoft is going to deprecate the Basic authentication mechanism effectively from Oct 1st. This has been used by the mail server thing to publish emails.

So, Now what will be the workaround, or does PTC Thingworx has any other alternative to publish emails with modern authentication ??

Hi @sabharees @nmutter

With last week's release of ThingWorx 10.0, ThingWorx Mail extension 5.0 was released to add OAuth support for Google and Azure.   This update can be found on the PTC Download site under ThingWorx Foundation.  Refer to the ThingWorx 10.0 Help Center for more information.

Just reminder for the community as well: If you use exchange and Mail extension you will need to get active until 09.25: "During September 2025, we will remove support for Basic auth with the Client Submission (SMTP AUTH) endpoints" - https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/exchange/exchange-online-to-retire-basic-auth-for-client-submission-smtp-auth/4114750

(I'll create a ptc case for our usage)
