Master mashup gets changed everytime when i try to navigate in 9.3

I have used some thing service calls in master mashup header section. i can see that the thing service gets called every-time when i navigate to any other page.

Do you have the master defined in each of your mashups?

If so, only have it defined in your starting mashup.

I haven't done this lately but at least when using menus the master should stay in place unchanged, I forget what happens when you use the Navigation widget.
