Menu not displayed when not Administrator loggin used despite authorizations given

Hello

 

I have a menu into a Master in order to navigate into Mashups.

It works fine when I'm adminsitrator but it is not displayed when I am a user.

 

I found some topics & followed them without succes :

I gave access (visibility , run time) to the user group (& associated Organization) for menus, masters, System/SubSystem , etc ... but no menu displayed and nothing in application logs for Authorization error.

 

All other services are working fine for this user after given such access, only menu display is a problem

Hello

 

I found the solution by adding the group in "Group Association"

 

there is a bug not fixed since 7.2 :

 

  • Leaving the Group Associations field blank is supposed to result in all user groups having visibility of the menu
  • There is a bug in ThingWorx 7.2+ which requires this field be filled out

Hope it is fixed in 8 ?

If you open the browser Dev tools when viewing the mashup, do you see any errors ? Usually you'd be able to pinpoint the missing permissions from there.
