On reducing the font size it is ended up by having a scroll

• Are you applying the font size change via custom CSS, widget properties, or a theme?
• Does the scroll appear in a specific widget or across the entire mashup?

Please provide further details of your use case.  Where are you reducing the font size?  In a mashup?

You may already be aware, but you're running an older, unsupported version of ThingWorx.  It's possible the issue you're experiencing has been addressed in a more recent version of the product.   if you can provide some recreation steps, I can test it against a supported version.
