Preventing Thingworx from updating tag values in Kepware

Thingworx seems to have the bad habit of sending "0" values to Kepware tags after editing properties on a remoteThing connected to IndustrialGateway Thing.

 

This happens when you create the remoteThing and bind the tags and then edit the remoteThing again and for example add a local value. Unfortunately the "readonly" property is not available. Is there any way of preventing Thingworx from doing this - ideally I would like to do this on the Thingworx side?

This may be related to how the Property is configured, but I need to better understand a few things about your install.

 

Please relate, what is the version ThingWorx you are working with?

 

Are you seeing a 0 is being pushed back to KEPServerEX, and you can see this Value update there (in the OPC Quick Client)?

 

Or, do you see the Value change to zero in ThingWorx, only?
