Problem Connecting to localhost mysql

I am facing issue while adding a configuration thing. After saving it, the properties section isConnected is always false.Can you help me on this

Can you share the JDBC setting from configuration ? Make sure the JDBC connection string,DB user name and password are correct there .Also is there any error in Application logs that is pointing to exact problem in configuration ?
