Raise FileT ransfer event code on file copy within the same repository

Hi All

i am new to the community.

i wanted to know if we can have FileTransfer event raised when we use FileSubSystem to copy files from one location to another within the same repo?
as in my case it is triggering only when i am having the source repo as remote thing and the target as the telematics repo.
