Risks of Deactivating DPM License?

I have a customer who wants to discontinue their use of DPM, but wants to keep their ThingWorx base license to support a different custom application.  The custom application and DPM are on the same instance of ThingWorx.  Is there a best practice to remove or deactivate the DPM entities and/or extensions?  Is there any risk to the custom application that we should be aware of while deactivating DPM?

hi @SF_10006600

what is the version of your DPM and ThingWorx server?

Do you have any extended modules imported into DPM and is there any customizaion on this DPM?

Hi @SF_10006600 , there is no guide to remove DPM and its extensions from your ThingWorx platform. DPM creates several objects on your platform to represent digitally your production line and it will be really hard to remove all these objects and then then remove the DPM extensions.
Your best alternative it's to install a new ThingWorx server and migrate only the custom application to this new server.
