state formatting of a dropdown in ThingWorx 8.5

Hi, Is it not possible to render a drop down based on state formatting? I created a new state definition and when I tried to bind it to the drop down to change color of one particular text that I am getting from drop down, it doesnt show any option for state formatting. There is a property 'List format' which opens only the rendering but not state.  How can I set the state formatting to a drop down?

Hi,

 

Currently, state base formatting is not available for dropdown and also other widgets (e.g. ptcs-list widget).

We recommend to use the old List widget for the moment, we open a defect for this kind of issue.
