Thingshape runtime permissions

I have a thingshape used in a template that relates to some particular area of functionality in that template. I want to allow a particular group to have access to the thingshapes properties and services, but not allow them access to any other parts of the template. If I set the run time permissions in the thingshape 'run time instance' level, does this mean I wont have to do override permissions at the template level?

    Hi,

     

    I didn't test if run time instance is working for thingshapes, but from my point of view you should add also permissions in template. Run time instance is used more at the template level to provide default permissions to the implemented things.

    Hi,

    thanks for your reply. Would be a shame if they aren't inherited as is would make setting permissions an easier task. I will try to test it myself and post the results back here.
