Hello,

A customer would like to use Thinkworx 8.5 with the Amazon Cloud. We could use the DynamoDB database probably using the low level API (http Requests) or is there any High level API accessible from Thingworx?

We could also use the Thingworx AWS IoT Connector but It's not easy to find the documentation about it: " The ThingWorx AWS IoT Connector has been moved to End of Life (EOL), so the documentation for it has been removed from this help center." source: https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx_hc/thingworx_cx_services/

Can I use the AWS Iot Connector 1.2 with Thingworx 8.5?

Can I use the following installation guide? https://www.ptc.com/support/-/media/33AD8169A9BB4975BDB0A5BCC0AF3EA0.pdf?sc_lang=en

Hi,

No, actually AWS IoT connector is deprecated/end-of-life.

Use TWX in AWS with a Postrgres RDS as the primary persistence provider.  Use Dynamo as appropriate for storing data outside of TWX.  Use Greengrass with a lambda and the TWX SDK or Greengrass and SQS to connect to TWX.

Is the AWS Iot Connector 1.2 still compatible with Thingworx 8.5?
