Thingworx Flow Error

Thingworx 8.5 Trial.
Thingworx Analytics 8.5.
Thingworx Flow 8.5.

I am getting the following error (Invalid Connection) when I attempt to create a connection to Thingworx from Flow.

Also getting Error 404 when attempting to add a Workflow from within a Thing.

Have logged a case with support - but is it because I am using a trial?

Hi,

UPDATE - I created a new connection. It didn't like the connection being created using an Application Key. However when I used basic authenticiation - it worked!

This is for a demo I will take a look at the app key issue another time.

Thanks for your help guys!

For connection to Thingworx please use the following format for ThingworxURL:

http://host:port/Thingworx

Hope it helps,

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. It still did not work the following URL.

http://pass-c01:8080/Thingworx/Composer/

However if I modify it to the following -

http://pass-c01:8080/Thingworx/Composer/#

It worked and it created the connection. However I am now unable to browse any Things from the Thingworx trigger.

Hi @OGCORF1974.

Remove "Composer" from the url:  http://host:port/Thingworx

In regard to the 404 error when attempting to add a Workflow from within a Thing, refer to this article for a solution.

Regards.

Thanks for your help - I am slowly getting there. I tried https://PASS-C01/Thingworx and this worked!

However when I try to browse my (Thingworx) source entities I get 'no results'.

Looking at the help should I get a list of Things I can then use to trigger the workflow - or  is there something else I need to do?
