Thingworx foundation Trial H2 installation fails

I am getting following error in foundation-20201014070146.log file.

Hi @CS_9672820.

 

A couple of things come to mind:

 

  • Did you validate the requirements per the installation instructions?
  • Did you run the installer as Administrator?

Also, from a review of the logs, it appears you may have tried to install multiple times.  If so, you need to check to make sure any remnants of a previous installation are removed before retrying.  For example, the Chef Client is sometimes not removed.  You can verify by checking in Programs and Features.
