I am trying to install ThingWorx 8.3 H2 using the .war file. I am downloading the .war file from here - https://support.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/product.jsp?prodFamily=TWX. I am following the following steps -

1. Java JRE installation

2. TomCat 8.5 Installation

3. Running http:localhost:8080

4. Deploy the .war file

At the end of step 4, when I try to deploy the .war file the local host fails to open. I browser throws an error "this site can't be reached' ...

PS: I am following the instructions from this tutorial - https://community.ptc.com/t5/IoT-Tech-Tips/ThingWorx-Tutorials-Installing-ThingWorx-Neo4j-in-Windows/td-p/532555

Thanks,

Hi @rao91.

Did you install 64-bit Java?  If so, please provide the \ThingworxStorage\log\ApplicationLog.log and <Tomcat_home>\logs\catalina.log.

Regards.
