TW 8.5 Style Theme in custom widget

Hi,

Does anyone know how to access a mashup's style theme information from a custom widget? Or where to find any documentation relating to this? 

I've previously developed a few widgets for 8.4 where styles were applied using Style Definitions, but was hoping to make use of the new Style Themes available in 8.5 for new widgets going forward.
