Maybe the exported Mashup has a wrong formatting.

Try to export the Mashup again and reimport the exported file.

Is this a newly created mashup or was it imported from an older version?

It is possible that some widgets were not placed inside proper containers.

Please show a picture with the structure of the mashup from Explorer tab. Maybe we can get a better idea from that.
