Unpack a tar.gz file

Hello All,

Has anyone had any success trying to unpack a tar.gz file within Thingworx?  I am working on a project where tar.gz files are being uploaded by the device and so far I have been unsuccessful at unpacking them in Thingworx. Thank you!

      Hi Brian, is this a specific problem with the tar.gz archive or it can be extended to other archive types ?

      I am thinking that you can trigger one of the unpacking commands via a Cron job or a Scheduled task.

      Our problem is specifically with tar.gz files, but I'm sure others might encounter this with other archive types.  Are you saying there is a way within a mashup or with a service to extract these?  I looked at the link you provided and am not quite sure how to apply that to within Thingworx. Thanks!
