Where can I find the Thingworx.war file??

I'm trying to run a local instance of the thingworx application on a windows machine and to do this, I'm following this guide: https://support.ptc.com/WCMS/files/169063/en/Installing_ThingWorx_6.6_1.pdf

I've installed all prerequisites including Thingworx 8.1. Please help me find the Thingworx.war file that has to be placed in the Tomcat installation location.

Hi Ram,

You can download any version of the ThingWorx  platform from the PTC Support site .

https://support.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/product.jsp?prodFamily=TWX

Once you download the appropriate version , you can find the Thinworx.war file by unzipping the downloaded package.

What version of ThingWorx are you trying to install? 6.6 or 8.1?

Thank you for the reply. I was able to find almost all the required files and install it successfully. However, I'm unable to login to the local instance using the username and password given in the installation guide. None of the logs have any information except localhost_access_log which has nothing but status code 401.

The username I used: Administrator
