Widget/gadget libraries for motors, pumps and valves?

How to create compelling mashup of flow charts for e.g. a pump station? Are there made some common widget/gadget libraries available for motors, pumps and valves symbols? What is the best practice? Should we develop our own libraries from scratch? Or are there something to start with?
