WS EMS with external application

Hi,

I'm trying to connect a Raspberry Pi to Thingworx using a dockerized Node.js application. I've already been successful to use the Java SDK to do so, but now I want to try Node.js as the edge software.

My question is whether I can bind my remote device to the associated Thingworx' thing or not. I mean, will I be able to run a remote service from Thingworx using WS EMS with my external application (written with Node.js)?

If the answer is NO, does that mean that the only way to actually bind a device to Thingworx is by using the SDKs or the WS EMS with Lua script?
