can gestures and voice commands to be applied ad hoc?

Now you have to select an object and bind the gesture or voice command to it. Can it be reversed? Say a command is predefined and object is a variable?

I would want to say "move this left" and select an object, and the binding will happened on the bg

You can bind a voice command/gesture to a View (i.e., Home View for example) and navigate between two views. Technically even the adhoc should do some action. Let us know if you are looking for a specific usecase.
