Can Image target or Multiimage target can replace model target approach

is that a question or statment - a question I believe so some kind ow  to use an image Target for 3D models? But could you clarify ? Please, provide more details about the application case and the goal? Thanks

So my understanding there is that   you want to use an image target (instead of modelTarget) to scan a real 3D model (where you try to scan an imageTarget which displays a view of the 3D physical model? That is what I will understand from the description. Thanks!
