Multiple Area Target in one project

Hi, there

Is it possible to use multiple Area Targets (to each View respectively) in one Project?

I created a Project with 3 Views with its own Area Target, then fail to Publish.

There is nothing recorded on the Log (...\User\VuforiaStudio\studio.log) nor anything on the Console of Experience Server.

Any reply is appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

It seems like you can just rename the <project>.glb  in <project>_authoring.glb , copy the file and rename it in <project>_navmesh.glb.

Its not optimal for sure, but you can use it like this.

Hi,

yes it is possible.

Can you publish the views separately?  (duplicate the projects 3 time and the delete the other views)

There might be a problem with one of the area targets.

I think there was a problem with targets that were generated with an older version of the app. You might have the regenerate it.

Could you please try this.

Thanks.

You are totally right.

I was trying to add new scan into an old project.

If I Publish original View solely, nothing happen.

Then I import the old scan, the warning "Lack of  <project>_authoring.glb" shows.

Does this mean all the old scans become useless?

@VladimirN

Thank you for the tip.

But is it possible to put the Combined Area Target back to Vuforia Studio?

Or Unity + Vuforia Engine is the only solution for multiple Area Target projects?

So far I've only seen this solution.
