Reduce PVZ size of Creo Illustrate files with sequences

Hi everyone,

I’m building an AR app in Vuforia Studio 9.25.6 for an iPad. My project uses several PVZ files from Creo Illustrate, each with the full gearbox (about 300 parts) and its own sequence. The project is now about 3.4 GB, which is too big to import (2 GB limit) and too heavy for the iPad.

When I upload the Illustrate PVZ files with “Run CAD Optimizer”, Studio shows “CAD optimizer failed”. Without the optimizer, the sequences work fine, but the files are very large.

Is there a way to reduce the PVZ size and still keep the sequences, including visibility and transparency changes? Would running pvsoptimize.exe with pvsoptimize_for_illustration_with_view_state.rcp work, and what is the correct syntax?
