Question

add attribute to cad model

I am using Windchill 10.2 for development purposes. My test CAD files exist both in the workspace and the check-in area of Windchill. I'm trying to add an Attribute to existing CAD models, i.e. Material. I was able to Add the attribute and set a few values under the Type and Attribute Management Utility. After doing this, when I check the Info on a CAD model, I see my new attribute under Object Specific. The attribute is there, but has no value. I can't seem to find the right spot to Edit this value.

From the Product>my product>Workspaces link I can see my new attribute in the Object Specific area. I click on Actions>Edit Attributes and the top just says Current Settings: All dependents, none of my metadata shows up for my model. Can someone point me to the correct screen to edit Attributes? Thanks.

You need to customize the view (or create a new specific view).  Add your attributes in the 'Set Column Display' section.
