Adding a NonVersion Attribute to WTDocument

I am using Windchill Aerospace & Defense Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.0.1

We need to flag the WTDocument with Compliance ready/ Approved/ Rejected without iterating/ revising the WTDocuent. How can we do that ?

Tried to Add a non versioned attribute to WTDocument Master . However , that is not visible to user in UI

    We can Create and alias attribute on wtdoc referencing master attribute but it will be exposed to the edit layout which will iterate the doc : 

     

     

    Second option is to customize the rename document wizard to add the master attribute  .

      Hi @Fadel,

      In the first option the attribute can always be removed from edit layout right?

      yes , later on we can remove  attribute from layout
