You can find the supported objects for BAC here. There are also some tutorials available here.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the information . Documents are there , anyone using in Production deployments wanted to confirm.

Problem am facing in BAC utility is Target system import only works of new Objects.
it will throw error like already exists for all the existing Items . Generaly Workflows, TypeDefenition , ACLs,OIrs are iterative .

I have lots of questions here so I have not had time to explore using it. I think in my setup I would run into issues. Ideally, all your instances would be the same and things would flow upward. In my case, test is a clone of prod and dev is a clean new install. The BAC elements are manually imported the old fasioned way. There are inherient differences. For those who have used this, is there an easy process to ensure all are in sync as a starting point so that changes can flow via a process. It took me a while to get a flow for just code changes but its so much easier now to push code from instance to instance. Lots more to do there.

I've started dabbling with it. It's not easy to use (in my opinion). We have dev and test systems that are all cloned from prod. I can easily export and import a workflow template (for example), but if I try to make a BAC package of that same workflow template, I get errors importing it. I think there must be more setup required to get it to work correctly.

The worst part is that the errors are entirely vague and not helpful.
