Automatically select parts in Matrix Editor for Update Baseline Objects

I want to add all parts that are applied by a variant specification to a managed variant baseline. Therefore in the matrix editor, I have to mark all parts that have been selected for the variant specification based on option filter or manually manually to be able to add them to the variant baseline by "update baseline objects". 
Is there really no way to add/select all parts that apply to the Variant Specification (all parts that have a check in the matrix editor) automatically?? 

Creating a baseline on the derived variant is much more easer but deriving a variant is a step i do not need.
