Version: Windchill 13.0

 

Use Case: BOm Redline is not visible on the affected objects table when the object is in released state.

creation of BOm Redline action is not visible on the affected objects table when the object is in released state.

The issue is fixed after setting the preference under Site Utilities Preference Management BOM Redlining

You need a little more context and information in your post aside from what you wrote. I have not used this feature yet but ensure that you have it setup properly and gone through documentation:

When you say "the object", do you mean the objects in the affected objects table? Screen shots and examples help also.

I have added a released version of a WTPART in affected objects and trying to create a Redline on this. There i dont see the action to create one.

Can you verify that the other conditions are met? Preference and xconf settings are enabled. You have proper license (likely Advanced Windchill license I think). if custom workflow, that variable is enabled? If you want to see what is blocking the action, try adding &jcaDebug=true to URL.
